1. Acceptance of these terms

By submitting the signup form or otherwise using the Habits of Data service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What the service does

Habits of Data is an automated reporting service. You give us the login credentials for a business platform you use (such as Optavia, Herbalife, Mary Kay, or Beachbody), and we use an automated process to log in on your behalf and retrieve reports available in your account, which we then deliver to you.

3. Eligibility & authorization

By signing up, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years old.
You are the account holder for the credentials you provide, or you are otherwise fully authorized by the account holder to share them with us for this purpose.
The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you (or the account you're authorized to submit).

4. Your responsibilities

Keep your submitted credentials accurate — if your password changes, you're responsible for updating it with us so report pulls don't fail.
You are responsible for your own compliance with the terms of service of whatever third-party platform you connect (Optavia, Herbalife, Mary Kay, Beachbody, or otherwise). We do not review, and cannot guarantee, that automated report retrieval is or remains permitted under that platform's own rules — that determination and any resulting consequences are yours, not ours.
Don't submit credentials you are not authorized to share.

5. No affiliation with third-party platforms

Habits of Data is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Optavia, Herbalife, Mary Kay, Beachbody, or any other company referenced on this site. All product names, logos, and brands mentioned are property of their respective owners and are used only to identify which platform your report data comes from.

6. Manual review before activation

Submitting the signup form stages your account for manual review — it does not immediately grant us access to anything. We will follow up before your account is provisioned and report retrieval begins.

7. Fees

Any applicable fees for the service will be communicated to you separately before you're charged. [Placeholder — update once a pricing/payment flow exists.]

8. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe an account violates these terms, was submitted without proper authorization, or if we're required to do so by law.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that report retrieval will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a given third-party platform's website or export format won't change in a way that temporarily breaks retrieval. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep the service working, but we can't control changes made by third-party platforms we don't operate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Habits of Data will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any action taken by a third-party platform against your account there. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. [Confirm your actual jurisdiction with an attorney.]

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
